For our office in Curaçao we are looking for an: 

(Senior) Executive Assistant

Your challenge 

In this position, you will be responsible for a wide range of secretarial and supporting activities for our C-level staff and Management Team. As a resourceful and assertive (Senior) Executive Assistant, you will provide high level professional support with enthusiasm and dedication. 

Your responsibilities

  • Acting as a first point of contact: Coordinate executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails and interfacing with clients;
  • Scheduling and organizing meetings and managing calendars;
  • Support the BDO Caribbean regional clustering initiative;
  • Organize logistical and travel arrangements for staff and consultants; 
  • Prepare internal and external corporate documents like reports, presentations, and other correspondence;
  • Responsible for correct digital archiving using our document management system;
  • Liaising with relevant organizations (related to office management) and clients;
  • Organize various activities such as internal and external events (staff and client appreciation events and corporate events taking place outside of the workplace);
  • Oversees small building projects, renovations or refurbishments;
  • Coordinates and supervises the activity of the cleaning and maintenance personnel;
  • Management of office supplies;
  • Other administrative duties as required.

Job requirements

  • Proven experience as an executive assistant;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related field (e.g. Commercial field);
  • Experienced ability to use standard software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office);
  • Proficient in Dutch and English both verbally and in writing. 
  • Must possess excellent verbal communication skills.
